In January 2020, Mrs S’ old gas boiler started making funny noises and wasn’t heating her water properly. After learning about the problem, an NHS Occupational Therapist referred Mrs S to the Healthy Housing Service. NHHS not only arranged for Mrs S to receive a fully funded boiler replacement through E.ON, but found her a cheaper energy deal, and added her to WPD’s priority service register for help in the event of a powercut.
