Time to adjust the flow temperature

We are aiming to set the flow temperature to at least 60°C

If your boiler has buttons…

1. Start by identifying the radiator symbol. Then, look for the button that is closest to the radiator symbol – it might be nearby or on a button.

2. Next, press the button, the display should change to show the current flow temperature.

3. Use the ‘down’ or ‘minus’ button to reduce the flow temperature to at least 60°C. The button should resemble the diagram on the right, but can vary from boiler to boiler.

4. Once the display reads 60°C, you may have to press ‘OK’ or you may have to press the radiator button again to confirm the new setting.

If your boiler has a dial…

1. Most combi boilers don’t have the temperature displayed around the radiator temperature dial, so you won’t be able to see the exact temperature.

2. The diagram on the right shows the approximate position that the dial should be adjusted to in order to set your flow temperature at 60°C – you should aim for roughly 12 o’clock.

3. The display should change to show the current flow temperature.

As a climate change and fuel poverty charity, NEP aim to track the carbon savings made as households across Nottinghamshire (and beyond!) lower their flow temperatures.

Please help us by providing your details below so we can map the collective carbon reductions.
