NEP’s Miranda nominated for Regen Green Energy Award

This year, our very own Miranda Cumberbatch was nominated for a Net Zero Energy Pioneer award at Regen’s Green Energy Awards.

On March 30th 2022, the awards were held at the beautiful Bath Assembly rooms, and were a fantastic celebration of the sustainable, clean and smart energy sector.

Miranda has worked at Nottingham Energy Partnership for almost 20 years, and is a champion of energy efficiency. She’s been winning bids, developing teams, project managing and building partnerships across Nottinghamshire during her time with the NEP.

The nomination comes after her achievements in inspiring individuals and making a real difference to the development of a net zero energy system.

Her work in the fuel poverty and retrofit space has resulted in 21,000 energy efficient measures, the upskilling of over 4,500 trained professionals and the retrofit of 3,500 concrete homes.

The Green Energy Awards are a celebration and a chance to recognise the incredible efforts undertaken to help towards a smart and sustainable energy system.

Miranda was delighted to attend the event, accompanied by fellow colleagues as well as her daughter.

As a recently appointed acting CEO, we’re wishing Miranda all the best as we’re sure she’ll continue to strive with her tireless dedication and endless enthusiasm.
