Are you prepared for the unexpected?

Extreme weather events, such as floods and heat waves, can cause power cuts. NEP’s Power Up Health service and the National Grid are here to help.

Support through the Priority Services Register offers:

  • Help maintaining your oxygen supply in a power cut

  • Your power will get reconnected sooner along with regular updates

  • Pre-agreed password so you know that visitors are genuine

  • Advanced notice of planned electricity disruptions

  • A special number to call in the event of a power cut

  • Extra support from the Red Cross for vulnerable clients

We can sign you up to National Grid’s Priority Services Register if any of the following applies to you:

  • You rely on medical equipment

  • You have a serious illness or disability

  • You are over the age of 60

  • You have a visual or hearing impairment

  • You have a child under the age of 5
